Siberian Mathematical Contest is a competition for bachelor and master programs' students of both mathematical and non-mathematical degrees.

Contest is held in two separate categories:

• first-year students,
• second-or-more year students.

Students must register in advance to be able to participate.

The contest will take place on December 14, 2025.
The registration form will be available from until December 10.

• Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk)
• ITMO University (Saint Petersburg)
• Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Moscow)
• Central University (Moscow)
• Yaroslavl State University (Yaroslavl)
• Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Astana and branch of Lomonosov Moskow State University (Astana, Kazakhstan)
• Urgench State University (Urgench, Uzbekistan)
• Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh (Nukus, Uzbekistan)
• Tomsk - to be specified

For each category the contest has two rankings: personal and team. Each participant's result is ranked in the personal standings. Team score is combined of 4 best personal results among its members. Each team can consist of up to six students. And each university can register no more than two teams in each category.
However, a student can always participate standalone. Forming a team is not required to compete in the personal standings.
The review process lasts a week, ending December 21.
Appeals are processed online on the work uploading platform from December 21 to 28.
Results are published on December 30.

Siberian Mathematical Contest tasks require vast knowledge of algebra, mathematical analysis, geometry, combinatorics, probabilities theory and mathematical statistics. Students have to write both detailed calculated solutions and theoretical proof.
